Our roots run Deep
We have a rich history that spans nearly 50 years beginning when an ex Vietnam veteran moved back into the community and wanted bring a professional barbershop to Calvert County. When he coulldn't secure a loan to open a business, he told the loan officer that he wanted the money to go on vacation.
He took that "vacation money" and opened Mike's House Of Style. He owned and operated the barbershop until he handed the baton over in 2011 to the two young barbers who walked in sixteen years earlier inquiring work that he hired without reservations.
The Game changer
He seemed to have been born with clippers in his hands. Clearly one the best of all time, Dovell Antwn Kirk was not just a barber; he was a philanthropist and was loved as much as he loved.
